The Take Charge. Get Tested.™ Event on June 27, 2008, is a free HIV testing campaign and is expected to reach more than 500 Atlantans! Empowerment Resource Center, in collaboration with Saint Joseph's Mercy Care Services and WSB-TV Channel 2, will host this open fair and festival on Auburn Avenue, between Fort Street and Hilliard Street in Atlanta GA. The Take Charge. Get Tested.™ campaign is designed to encourage citizens to receive voluntary HIV testing and counseling. Join key Georgia legislators Senator Nan Orrock, Representative Tyrone L. Brooks, Sr. , Representative Margaret Kaiser and Representative Robbin Shipp in support of this community outreach campaign.
