The Take Charge. Get Tested.™ Event on June 27, 2009, is a free HIV testing campaign and is expected to reach more than 500 Atlantans! Empowerment Resource Center, in collaboration with Saint Joseph's Mercy Care Services and Big Bethel A.M.E. Church, will host this open fair and festival on Auburn Avenue, between Bell Street and Jesse Hill Jr. Drive in Atlanta GA. The Take Charge. Get Tested.™ campaign is designed to encourage citizens to receive voluntary HIV counseling and testing. Join key Georgia legislators Senator Nan Orrock, Representative Tyrone L. Brooks, Sr., Representative Margaret Kaiser, Fulton County Commissioner Nancy Boxhill  and  Atlanta City Councilman Kwanza Hall  in support of this community outreach campaign.
